Payment Terms & Refund Policy

🛡️ You Don't Pay For The Build Until The Build Works

The $1,500 setup is split. $500 starts the work. The remaining $1,000 is not charged until your system is live on your line and has captured a real call. If we never get it working, you are never billed the balance.

How Payment Works

Most services in this category take the full setup fee upfront and then argue with you about refunds later. We do it the other way around. You pay a deposit to start, and you pay the rest only after the thing you bought is running.

$500 Deposit — At Signing

This covers your carrier registration (brand and campaign filing), your dedicated phone number, and the start of the build. It is non-refundable, because it is spent on your behalf the day you sign.

$1,000 Balance — At Go-Live

Charged only when your system is live on your line and has handled a real call end to end. Not at signing. Not at kickoff. If it never reaches that point, this is never charged.

$697/month — Starting 30 Days After Go-Live

Your first 30 days of service are included in the setup while we tune the system. Monthly billing begins after that. Cancel any time, no notice period, no term.

Our 14-Day Delivery Promise

If your leads are not responding through the system within 14 days of kickoff, we keep working at no additional charge until they are. We do not bill the balance and we do not start the monthly until it is live. This is a delivery commitment, and it is separate from payment terms.

What Is and Isn't Refundable

Not Refundable:

The $500 deposit — it pays for carrier registration and number provisioning that cannot be reversed, plus build time already spent
The $1,000 balance, once your system is live — at that point the work is delivered and in use
Monthly fees ($697/month) — not refundable or pro-rated, but you can cancel at any time

There is no 30-day money-back window, because you are not asked to pay for the build before it exists. The risk is handled at the front of the transaction instead of the back. Your exposure before anything is delivered is $500, not $1,500.

What "Go-Live" Means

Go-live is a specific, observable event, not a judgment call:

The system is connected to your business phone number
A missed call to that number triggers the automated text-back
The customer's reply is captured and forwarded to you
The event is logged and we can show it to you

We confirm go-live with you in writing before the balance is invoiced. If you disagree that the system is live, the balance is not charged until it is.

Cancellation

Cancel any time: no contract, no minimum term, no notice period required
Effective date: at the end of your current billing cycle
How: email us and it is handled the same day

What Happens to Your Service

Lead Lock service is deactivated
Automated responses stop
You receive an export of your data (leads, responses, appointments)
Your account and configurations are deleted after 30 days

If Something Goes Wrong

Straight with you: Lead Lock is new, and we are taking on our first three contractors right now. There are no client statistics on this page because we would rather earn them than borrow somebody else's.

Here is what we control and what we do not. We control response time: every new lead gets a reply in under 90 seconds, day or night, with a link to book. We do not control your lead quality or your dispatch, so we are not going to promise you a revenue number. Anyone who does is guessing.

If the system is not doing what we said it would, tell us. We would rather fix it than keep money from a business that is not getting value. Where we have clearly failed to deliver what was described, we will make it right, and we handle that case by case rather than pretending a policy page can anticipate it.

Important Notes

Good Faith Requirement

These terms are offered in good faith. We reserve the right to decline service or withhold delivery for:

Fraudulent applications or payment information
Failure to participate in implementation (not attending kickoff, not providing access to your number, calendar, or lead sources)

If you block go-live by not providing what we need, the 14-day delivery clock pauses until you do.

Changes to This Policy

We may update these payment terms with 30 days notice. Changes do not affect applications already submitted. Your terms are locked in when you apply.
